TRANSFORMER
Definition of transformer or what we are familiar with the transformer is an electronic component that serves to raise or lower the voltage. Thereby the function of the transformer is very desirable in a system / electronic circuit. Here transformer role in channeling the energy or electrical power from high voltage to low voltage or vice versa, but with the same frequency. Because of that the transformer is an electrical device that belongs to the class of static electricity machine.
This transformer rectangular
arrangement which included a steel plate-shaped E. transformer
made from copper wire
(email) wrapped around small sized plates which
form the primary winding and a secondary winding.
Transformer works on the principle of electromagnetic induction work. Where
in the event of a change in the magnetic flux in the primary coil, it will be forwarded
to the secondary coil and generates an electromotive force (emf) induced and induced
currents. Well, that always changes the magnetic flux, then the current entry (input)
should be alternating current (AC).
In the development there are various types of transformer or transformer and has
a variety of functions, including:
1. Trafo ( Transformator ) Adaptor
2. Trafo ( Transformator ) IF ( Frekuensi Menengah )
3. Trafo Step Up / Step Down
4. Trafo OT ( Out Put )
Trafo step up is The function of this transformer is used to raise the AC voltage, transformer type is used in the voltage generating circuits in electronic devices such as
Trafo step-down is the opposite, this transformer function to lower the AC voltage, examples of its use in the adapter.
Thus, electronics hobbyist and practitioners, we study the definition and function of the transformer. Thank you for your time reading this article. May be useful.
